Daisy Smith (b.1995, Chelmsford, UK) is currently resident at De Ateliers in Amsterdam. She works from a personal archive in which family members, friends, previous workplaces and living situations are situated within a backdrop of wider social divisions. Previously her films have been screened at the Whitechapel Gallery, Spike Island, CCA Glasgow, South London Gallery, the British Film Institute and Nottingham Contemporary. She is the 2023 recipient of the Dommering Fonds, and a founder and co-programmer of Mascara Film Club.
