Roman Roth (*1990) lives and works in Berlin. He started his artistic work with graphic design and typography, and later moved his focus towards light sculptures and programmatic video installations. He uses film as a constructing element in his visual works. Through cleverly timed manipulations, video tracks are transformed into new organisms and landscapes. His works play with perception and the boundaries of film as a medium.
