Sebastian Ukwa is an award-winning film and documentary director, cinematographer, editor, colourist and festival curator, with nearly 5 years of experience as a filmmaker. He is skilled in many facets of filmmaking and keen on telling real stories that reflects real human situations. He is the founder of Breadfruit Studios a Nigerian based film and documentary production studio with apt focus on storytelling and colour grading and a track record of excellence in film, documentary and media productions. He has produced and directed some of the most outstanding multi-award-winning short movies and documentaries, including “Tales of The Browbeaten”, which earned him awards for Best Short Film at the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF), Eastern Nigeria International Film Festival (ENIFF), Uyo International Theatre and Film Festival (UTAFF) among others. He is the founder and festival director of Fountain International Film Festival, a not-for-profit film festival that showcases and celebrate films which preach the Gospel of Christ.
