A tormented woman wanders among city ruins, haunted by nightmares. Dancing in a trance of bittersweet memories, she whispers to the void, haunted by lost love. Teetering on madness and consumed by death, her dance leads her to Telos theater, where her world reaches its endgame.
This film will be screened as part of our short film competition on Sunday 15 October at 7.30pm and Wednesday 18 October at 4pm.

A graduate of Le Fresnoy, Studio National des Arts Contemporains (France) and the Institute of Interdisciplinary Cultural Studies at the University of Tokyo, Atsuhiko Watanabe makes films inspired by contemporary theater, choreographic works and electronic music. In 2009-2016, he was an Associate Professor as well as Director of the Department of Cinema at Tokyo Zokei University, working with a renowned filmmaker, Nobuhiro Suwa as its president, in Japan. Since 2016, he lives and works in Paris. His films were selected by Rotterdam and Locarno Festivals, as well as international film festivals in Europe, USA, India and Japan. He makes also TV documentaries on classic ballet and contemporary dance.
