Ronan Mackenzie

Ronan Mackenzie is an artist filmmaker and animator from Blackburn, Lancashire. Mackenzie’s work explores very personal narratives that combine his dreams, nightmares, lures, fears and experiences to thematically investigate identity, familial relationships, memory and its eventual disintegration, existentialism, mortality, and the anthropogenic. Akin to a painting that moves, he combines multiple layers of moving and still images to create depth and texture to his films.
